Jean-Claude BOURGEOIS, painter Franc-Comtois in love with his mountains, presents here a particular work in his chromatic range.
This landscape treated with emotion and subjectivity is closer to poetic lyricism that may have existed in the Movement of the "young painting" in which the artist was inscribed.
After Fine Arts in Besançon, jean Claude BOURGEOIS became a member of the main Parisian salons. Several personal exhibitions in Paris since 1957 and in Besançon are dedicated to him. In 2012, the Baron Martin Museum in Gray (70) paid tribute to him in a retrospective, one year after his death.
His career has seen many collective exhibitions in France (numerous presences at "Annonciades"), in Europe and in the USA. In 2017, it was once again the exhibition dedicated to "Young Painters of the 1950s" at the same Museum in Gray.
Works at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and in many French and foreign museums.
