Leon Boudot, painter franc-comtois was the pupil of Louis Français and Gustave Courbet.
Present at the Salon from 1877 to 1924, he participated in the Universal Exhibitions of 1899 and 1900.
His works are in the museums of Besançon, Nancy, Reims, Nîmes, Cannes as well as in American public and private collections (sources P Cabanne-G Schurr)
Often compared to Emile ISENBART, Léon BOUDOT, landscaper of the school Franc-Contoise loved the colors of autumn.
This work evokes the golden season and is reminiscent of the work he did near Port Lesney (Jura)
